Tanjung Malim Today

I don’t know why I came up with the idea on writing this entry. I felt very disappointed with the world today.

Tanjung Malim.

Scene  1, The bus station.

I know Perak is mostly populated with Chinese/Indian and they are all so ramai than Malay people. So, muslim people are maybe half of them I guess. Is that the reason why the ‘surau’ kat bus station is being neglected? Very poor condition. There was a day when I wanted to go home and my trip was on 8 p.m. so of course kena solat dulu. 

Then I headed to that ‘surau’ kat tingkat atas and surprisingly surau tu sangat gelap. No lights, no kipas. Kipas takde aku boleh tolerate but lampu takde was just so emberassing.

Sedih waktu tu sebab baru first time aku rasa bahawa tempat solat tak dijaga langsung. Tempat solat tak lagi dianggap penting sampai takde lampu pun kat situ, plus kotor. Lagipun kat perak ni, anjing berkeliaran so it is possible kalau ada anjing yang masuk tidur kat tempat solat tu.

Aku pelik, toilet kat bus station tu sangat bersih and selesa, tapi tempat solat sangat teruk macam takde sorang muslim pun kat bumi Tanjung Malim ni yang masih bersolat. I’m so disappointed. 

Scene 2, Tanjung Malim and Upsi.

Stray dogs are everywhere. Tanjung Malim ni terlampau banyak sgt anjing berkeliaran. Kiri anjing kanan pun anjing. Everytime I wake up for Subuh prayer, mesti ada satu geng anjing nearly 8 ekor tidur kat court tu. Dia bukan tengok saja okay dia kejar nak telan kita okay aku pernah kena. 

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
